Great book, Kindle edition lacking features?

The less this focused on Ghost (a somewhat tame and unimpressive villian from Book 3), the better it got.
Anyway, this review has more to do with the quality of the Kindle Edition. I presume this will apply to all WotC releases, but reserve judgment there until I check out some of my other WotC Kindle books.
In general, the fonts and readability of the Kindle Edition are fine. The graphics are great. The inclusion of the introductions and dedications is somewhat nostalgic too.
However, I was slightly disappointed to see there was no ToC. Granted, most people just read these books straight thought, but it's not a difficult thing to add and I still like to remember my book has Chapters (not just because some page tells me, but because there is some kind of table also).
More than that, however, was I noticed the book does not track "pages" like some Kindle books do. It only stores location entries. That's never been helpful for me when I want to know how much longer the current chapter is. (in case you're not aware, a book can have thousands of "locations" / paragraphs). I would think since the original books were print books, you could put in page breaks to match the print copy and have some idea of where you are. Or be able to switch easily between print and Kindle. Of course, I know that's more practical for research and scholarly books, but I've just gotten used to expecting these things.

Awesome!! No better build-up to the finale of Book V!

Cadderly Bonaduce has now come back to The Edificant Library after escaping with his life (barely): Wars, assassins, Dragons, sentient artifacts that simply will not be destroyed, grotesquely evil spirits, and a battle with a wizard that Cadderly must throw aside all personal feelings for to beat and escape with his life! Unfortunately, ONE single "emotionally lost" brother of Cadderly's gets back to the Library first...but is quickly consumed by his dark, unresolved emotional pain that drives him to externalize blame for all of the hurt he has caused, to easily cast aside all feelings of guilt/shame, resulting in him finally becoming a "Psychopath" and taking a risk that will change him, into a creature of potent evil, forever. His grandiosity and self-righteousness further cause him to believe that everyone should be like he is now that he has "transformed" (or, at least SERVE him and be happy about it!). Cadderly, Danica, the Bouldershoulder Brothers, and their Elvish friend return only to discover, to their horror, that they must CLEAN OUT the Edificant Library of the malignant evil that has killed off or infected 97% of all his brothers at the Library...save a few who have clung to their faith! But Cadderly's power is waxing strong yet he still does not comprehend how strong he will become. This book sets the stage for the necessary destruction of the Edificant Library and the creation of Spirit Soaring. A MUST read!

Enjoyed the series

Its a fun read throughout. It's worth reading the whole series. I did find that the depth of detail on all the fight scenes were really not necessary, so I started skipping to read through them.
